What once was a small Montessori school in a quaint residential area has evolved to become Country Day World School, CDS Tampa Bay's flagship location. Over the next 25 years, CDS Tampa Bay would grow to be the premier portfolio of Montessori schools located throughout the Tampa Bay area.

The Montessori Children’s House of Hyde Park founded as the first AMI accredited Montessori school in Tampa Bay.
Largo Campus expanded to 14 acres to include animal science and equestrian facilities, STEM labs, black box theater and cafe. It is named Country Day World School, as the flagship location of CDSTB.
Bloomingdale campus opens to students and CDS Tampa Bay becomes a portfolio of 6 schools.
